I am officially divorced & have resumed my name.
This is a way of notifying the public that I am officially divorced as of Oct, 2007 in the County of Arapahoe, Colorado,and have had my birth right name of Gloria Poole, restored to me via the Judge of the District Court there. I am gradually changing my online information to reflect this but just so you know, my former married name was gloria poole pappas. You see that I have had always had my maiden name included in my signature anyway so it is not a radical change, name-wise. I don't recommend divorce since I believe it is not the will of GOD, but JESUS said if there was adultery, then divorce was allowed. There were also many other reasons that most believers in GOD thought justified it! You may read more on this subject on another of my blogs at http://blog.gloriapoole-rn.com, entitled A Virtuous Woman. I didn't file for the divorce but I didn't oppose it either.
Also, there are many things to be updated yet, so just know that probably both names [maiden and former married name] may appear in some places for a while yet.
